Tomoki Matsumura

Born in 1997, Hiroki Matsumura joined metaPhorest in 2020 due to his interest in life and art after entering the School of Advanced Science and Engineering at Waseda University in 2016. Originally, he started swimming competitively at the age of 3. In 2018, he won the national championship in fin swimming and competed in the World Championships. Based on his past experiences, he has been performing to develop and research Daphnia swimming, and aims to examine the world of microorganisms (Daphnia) through practice. His main exhibitions include “SICF25” (Spiral Hall, 2024).
