101st metaPhorest Seminar by Yukik Shikata
This event will be primarily in Japanese, but questions and comments in English are also welcome.
For the November 29 metaPhorest Seminar, we are honored to welcome Yukiko Shikata, a legendary critic and curator who has played a central and pioneering role in media art both in Japan and internationally since the 1980s.
We will discuss the background of her wide-ranging activities across the arts, as well as her recent interests and ongoing explorations surrounding the concept of "Ecosophic Art," which she has proposed in recent years. This will be a rare opportunity to hear from one of the most influential voices in the field, and we warmly invite anyone interested to join us.
